The Wharfedale SW-12 is a really good sub at a surprisingly affordable price. This range of speakers comes with a host of new features. They now come with a more structurally rigid Non-pressed Paper cone for increased self-damping and improved transient impact. The centre vents of the SW-12 are copper lined to reduce magnetic distortion and improve the heat dissipation. These features plus revolutionary drive units, amplifier modules and filter stages give the SW-12 a perfect balance of sound and power, offering remarkable pressure levels and a deep, crisp and clean sound.

The in-house built 305mm (12") bass driver is quick and punchy, yet fast enough to deliver even obscured detail. The built-in 300 Watt amplifier is optimised for high impact at low frequencies which makes it ideal for Movies and music. With a beautiful finish and style the SW-12 Sub looks fantastic and even better with matching floor standing speakers.

Recommended with any of the Wharfedale floor-standing speakers. It isn't too big so will appeal to those who would rather not have a subwoofer!
