From simple systems to suit a living room space, or a fully built room that is better than going to a commerical cinema. Its well worth a trip out to our showroom to see whats possible. Whatever your budget we will put the time in to get you the best result.
Why Design It?
Having personally being involved with hundreds of projects over the years I know what is required to get the best out of your cinema room.
From picking the right size screen, knowing where to use acoustic panels, putting the speakers and chairs in the correct spots, and even paying to attention to paint colours. Getting all these little details right means a great room no matter what the budget.
Not sure where to start? Drop in to the Ringwood showroom to get some inspiration as to what is possible.
Cinema Solutions
One question we get a lot is: Should I go In-Wall, On-Wall, Floorstanding, or Behind the Screen?
All marvellous options in their own right.
The short answer? It depends. Each option has its own strengths, and the right choice comes down to sound, space, budget, and what looks good to you. There’s no one-size-fits-all - it’s about what works best for your room and how you like to experience your movies. And if you’re not sure, we’ll help you figure it out.
Cinema Chairs
Why opt for a couch, if you have the space for real cinema chairs? You have the cinema, enjoy it the way it is supposed to be enjoyed. We have premium seats that offer comfort, durability and many customisable options. Such as: Fabrics or Leather, differnent colours, slim-line designs and many configurations.
Elevate your comfort with optional extras like lumbar control, illuminated chiller cup holders, seat heating, and massage functions to really get your friends talking.
Acoustic Treatment
When purchasing new audio-video equipment, the sound acoustics are often neglected, resulting in poor sound performance, leaving consumers wondering why it didn't sound as good as it did in the showroom.
Adding properly chosen and installed acoustics panels can have a bigger impact than spending more on speakers and Amps.
Video Calibration
Out of the box a new Home Cinema Projector or Big screen TV will not give you the picture as the director intended. Out of the box the settings are designed for showrooms This might look impressive but the colours and contrast will not be natural. An ISF Certified Calibrator has all the right tools to get the best picture possible. There is no guess work involved. Many of us have all been guilty of adjusting contrast and brightness thinking we are making the picture better.
We use and recommend Tony Obrien from Clarity A/V for all our Calibration needs, he has the best equipment money can buy including, a JETI Spectraval 1501 2nm (high-res) Spectroradiometer, Klein K10-A colorimeter, Murideo 6G Signal Generator, Calman Ultimate, Colour Space and Chroma Pure Professional in addition to a comprehensive suite of test discs.
Once the cal is completed you will get lifelike skin tones, realistic colours and an image that is easier to watch. It is money well spent on your system.
Audio Calibration
If you are not new to AV you would have seen or used a calibration Mic on your A/V Receiver. All the big brands, Denon, Yamaha, Marantz have used them for over 15 years. For a lot of systems they do a Ok job.
But now software like Anthem ARC and Dirac Live allow us to extract the best out the system, and dive in deep to fine tune the sound. So even though a simple plug in of a Mic and sweep of the room will sound good, we can make it a lot better. For those wanting the best out of their Home Cinema proper audio calibration is essential. This will achieve accurate, high-quality sound reproduction tailored to your room.
