The Wharfedale Elysian CR Stand is purpose-designed for the ELYSIAN CR centre channel loudspeaker, providing the secure foundation required for high-end home cinema and multichannel music systems.

Standing at 496mm, the stand supports the Elysian CR at the correct height and angle for clear dialogue projection, stable front-stage imaging and seamless integration with the wider Elysian R speaker system. For a centre channel of this scale and performance, correct positioning is critical - the stand helps the loudspeaker perform with the clarity, authority and natural vocal presence intended by Wharfedale’s engineers.

The Elysian CR Stand is constructed from high carbon steel tube, with a high carbon steel top plate and hardened high carbon steel base spikes. This strong, rigid structure helps reduce unwanted vibration and resonance, effectively isolating the centre speaker from the floor and surrounding environment.

Finished exclusively in luxurious Matte Black, the Elysian CR Stand matches the refined metalwork and contemporary visual identity of the Elysian R Series. It is both a functional acoustic platform and a considered design element, completing a premium Elysian R home cinema installation with purpose and elegance.

Why Do You Need Speaker Stands?

That question is often quickly followed up with another: "Can't they just sit on the floor?" The truth is you can put the speakers wherever you like but the location and positioning absolutely and significantly affect performance. When centre speakers are placed on the floor or against a wall their sonic output becomes 'connected' to the floor or walls. This results in sound that is muddy, distorted and lacking in clarity. Speaker stands elevate and isolate speakers from floors and walls. Sound is clearer and cleaner with a greater sense of realism.

Note: Unless used on carpet, the spike feet will scratch floors. Be careful positioning the stand on floorboards, tile or vinyl flooring. No rubber feet or pads are included to protect floors. We recommend using Quadraspire Floor Protectors or Atacama Spike Shoes to protect your floors.
