The upgraded cabinets: now with bevelled edges and stylish Slate Grey fabric grilles, not only look stunning but also enhance sound quality. Slightly larger than before, they house new NS+ bass/midrange drivers and a powerful Class D amplifier, borrowed from Ruark’s premium R410, to deliver outstanding clarity and depth.

With expertly tuned crossovers and a refined bass reflex system, the MR1 Mk3 delivers a soundstage that’s bold and balanced, think deep bass, articulate mids, and crisp highs from the custom 20mm silk dome tweeters.

Our Review

The sound is rich and detailed, with a surprising amount of low-end punch for speakers this size. Vocals come through beautifully, and there’s a lovely warmth that makes everything from acoustic tracks to electronic music feel really engaging. Bluetooth pairing is seamless, and I especially love the built-in phono stage, I just plugged in my turntable and was up and running in seconds. They look stunning too, the Slate Grey finish and fabric grille give them a premium feel without being flashy.
