About The Rega Apheta 3 Stylus
The design of Rega's Apheta 3 eliminates excessive high frequency resonance excited by conventional tie wire designs. Apheta's natural high frequency resonance is subtle and low in amplitude, therefore eliminating the need for insensitive damping designs.

The Apheta 3 is completely manufactured by hand by Rega's highly skilled in-house production team. Rega values musicality and natural tonality over sterile, hyper-detailed presentation.
Unlike 99% of existing Moving Coil Phono Cartridges available today that are all still based on 50 year old technology, the Apheta 3 contains neither a steel suspension tie wire system nor a foam damper. After 4 years and many hundreds of experiments the innovative design of the Apheta was complete: one inspired by modern materials and the basic laws of magnetism.
The body is a solid alloy with a transparent, acrylic housing; the stylus is a Rega Fine Line Profile, a nude diamond stylus on a tapered aluminium cantilever. The result is super clear high frequencies combined with firm tight bass. All Apheta 3 cartridges are supplied with a specific tracking pressure unique to each cartridge to optimise performance. It is highly recommended to fit an Apheta using an accurate tracking pressure stylus gauge.
Note: This price is to exchange your existing Apheta cartridge and you must get your old Apheta cartridge back to us first. Then we will ship out a new replacement cartridge.
