Disc-To-Digital Made Simple

Thanks to high-performance video processing technology and the Media Centre R_video application, the R_volution NAS allows you to create a digital audio/video library from your DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. The R_volution NAS digitises your music and videos and stores them on hard drives, without compression or loss of quality. The R_volution NAS is highly scalable and capable of continuing to operate even after a drive failure, without loss of content. R_volution’s movie database, named R_video DB, contains data on over 1,200,000 movie titles, including DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs from all over the world.

The built-in optical disc drive supports fully-automated bit-for-bit back-up of your DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs. Open the tray of the Blu-ray player. Insert your disc and that’s it. R_volution NAS does all the work for you. There is nothing else to do. Once your disc is ripped and saved in the internal storage of the R_volution NAS, it is ejected and you can simply insert another one.

R_video collects the covers and various info to generate a feature rich user interface, accessible from any room equipped with an R_volution media player connected to a TV or projector. The R_video onscreen user interface is also displayed at 60 frames per second, resulting in fluid animation and a stunning visual impact. Movies can be resumed or played back from the opening scene without sitting through warnings, advertisements, or disc menus.

Back-Up 2 Discs Simultaneously

If you want to back-up two DVD, Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD discs simultaneously, don't worry! Just plug-in an additional external optical drive connected via USB, to your R_volution NAS. Then you will be able to back-up your discs 2 by 2! (1 internal and 1 external).
