Klipsch The Nines II Powered Speakers with Dolby Atmos

The Klipsch The Nines II Powered Speakers are the top-of-the-line model in the Heritage inspired series, designed to deliver powerful, immersive sound in a sleek, all-in-one package. Developed in partnership with Onkyo, The Nines II come equipped with integrated Dolby Atmos® processing, HDMI 2.1 eARC for easy TV Setup, and built in streaming options like AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect.

Klipsch has taken both design and performance up a notch, featuring a larger cabinet, real wood veneer finishes, a sturdy BMC baffle and upgraded Cerametallic woofers, for even deeper bass and more impressive output. You won’t need a separate amplifier, these speakers are built to fill any room with high-fidelity sound, making The Nines II the ultimate choice for enjoying music, movies and more.

Powered By Onkyo

This collaboration with Onkyo infuses hundreds of years of expertise, innovation, and extensive testing protocols. The integration of Onkyo technology into The Nines II Powered Speakers represents a deliberate stride toward perfecting every aspect of sound reproduction. The all-new electronics package inside each pair of Klipsch Nines II Powered Speakers delivers the signature, legendary American sound with the connectivity users expect, in an optimized design that makes them more compact and reliable than ever.

Dolby Atmos Surround Sound Technology

Dolby’s immersive audio formatting enhances your experience by placing sounds precisely around and above you, creating a realistic, multidimensional surround sound environment, even with two speakers.

Dirac Live Room Correction

Dirac Live room correction automatically creates the perfect soundscape for your space by tuning to your room. Dirac Live corrects anomalies in real time, utilizing advanced software to deliver the optimal acoustic experience. After a quick scan, The Sevens II deliver lifelike audio tailored to you with no manual equalization necessary.

Built-In Streaming

Powered by Onkyo’s precise, high-performance technology, The Nines II go beyond HDMI connectivity, letting you stream your favourite platforms, including Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and more.

HDMI 2.1

By including an HDMI 2.1 In/Out solution, the Nines II powered speakers deliver a simpler setup, better sound, and full next-gen compatibility by using a single cable to connect to your TV via eARC while passing through the highest-quality video and audio from connected devices. HDMI 2.1 supports uncompressed, high-resolution formats like Dolby Atmos, improves lip-sync accuracy, enables TV remote volume control, and allows gamers to enjoy 4K/120, VRR, ALLM, and HDR without sacrificing performance. The result is a future-proof speaker system that acts as the hub of your entertainment setup - eliminating extra boxes and cables while delivering cinema-quality sound and seamless gaming and TV integration.

Wireless Hi-Res Stereo

The Nines II now offer optional wireless L-R link stereo playback. Connect them the old-school way for 96kHz 24-Bit high resolution audio, or skip the wires and enjoy 48kHz of robust, studio and cinema-quality sound with nothing to hide.

Klipsch The Nines II Create Immersive Sound

DTS:X: Is a next generation audio codec that brings better entertainment experiences home. DTS:X immersive audio decoder delivers heightened levels excitement and realism.

DTS Virtual:X: Delivers deeper bass, clearer dialog, and immersive sound from above, behind, and around. It enhances the audio experience with virtualized height and surround effects, improved dialogue clarity, and rich bass with reduced distortion.

The Nines II Build Design

One-Piece BMC Baffle: The new one-piece BMC baffle is denser and more rigid, stopping unwanted resonance. A curved radius widens the soundstage, improving off-axis sound and producing a more detailed response without masking.

New Red Oak Finish: Klipsch have added a bold new colourway to the mix. Say hello to Red Oak, a wood veneer designed to catch the eye as well as the ears. The Red Oak finish is paired with a modern white baffle and light-gray removable speaker grilles for a fresh, contemporary look. We have seen this in person and it really is stunning.

Durable Metal Controls: A revised control panel on the speaker’s top edge allows you to manually select volume and source via a metal wheel and button.

Studio Style XLR Inputs: New XLR inputs take The Nines II out of the home theatre and into the studio, making them a versatile monitor option for both home and professional recording applications.

Klipsch The Sevens II Connections

Analogue Input with Phono Stage: Play your favourite LPs without the extra gear. A dedicated analog input with a built-in phono stage eliminates the need for a preamp, allowing you to plug your turntable in directly.

Mobile App Integration: The Klipsch Connect mobile app allows you to select and customize presets, change input and source, and automatically access your favourite playlists.

Subwoofer Output: The Nines II also include a subwoofer output so you can easily add a powered sub to the system. The subwoofer output consists of a mono-RCA jack and is located on the back of the "Right" speaker.

Controls: Fine-tune the experience or toggle between inputs and sources without breaking the mood using the new remote with convenient keypad backlighting.

Detachable AC Power Cord: The included 2 metre detachable AC power cord plugs into the back of the "Right" speaker and then into an AC wall outlet, surge protector, or power conditioner.

Proprietary Speaker Cable: The included 4 metre proprietary speaker cable connects the Klipsch Sevens II powered speaker (Right) and slave speaker (Left) together for power and audio signal. Also included is a 1.5m HDMI cable.

Why Choose The Klipsch The Nines II Powered Speakers?

When the play button has been touched, get ready to lose yourself in these absolutely stunning powered speakers. Personally, I will be first in line to get a pair of these great speakers. Seeing them in the new finish of Red Oak, also was the icing on the cake. We listened to some live acoustic music and it truly was impressive. But don't take my word for it, come down and check them out for yourself when they land in our showroom. Kirsten Hickey

About Klipsch

Our journey with Klipsch started in 1976, a whole four years before Audio Trends was born. In those days, the Klipsch Cornerhorns ruled supreme but we found the Klipsch Heresy to be a little gem with a massive sound. Even in 1978, most amplifiers were under 50 Watts per channel but connect a pair of Heresy's
