Klipsch RP-1200SW Subwoofer with 12" Bass Driver

Klipsch are confident that this series of high performance subwoofers is the best they have ever made. Anyone familiar with their previous efforts will know this is a big call but we have come to expect great things from Klipsch and they always deliver. The RP-12000SW featured here is the second model in the lineup which features a 12" Cerametallic bass driver and a 400 Watt amplifier (800 Watt peak) to drive medium to large rooms with ease. Of course if you need even more dynamic bass power you can always use two, or three, or four. Your call.

Hyper-Efficient Balanced Performance

Striking the optimal balance between amplifier power, driver capability and cabinet volume, Reference Premiere subwoofers achieve maximum low frequency extension with great output, accuracy and speed.

Spun Copper Front-Firing Cerametallic Woofers

Newly designed Cerametallic™ woofers are exceptionally light and extremely rigid, providing remarkable low frequency response with minimal cone breakup and distortion for higher, cleaner output using less amplifier power.

High Efficiency Class D Amplifier

The built-in, high efficiency amplifier features an analogue preamp design, which maintains the original signal path for cleaner, true-to-source reproduction. The Class D output stage ensures maximum efficiency for maximum output, detail, and low frequency power.

Front-Firing Slot Port With Exclusive Internal Flare Technology

Proprietary internal geometry with a new Aerofoil slot port design minimizes port noise for clean undistorted low frequencies. The front-firing design allows for placement flexibility.

WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit Capable

The Klipsch WA-2 Wireless Subwoofer Kit (sold separately) allows high resolution wireless connectivity for easy placement anywhere in your room and optimizes output and low frequency response. Connect up to four WA-2 wireless kits to compatible Klipsch subwoofers in a single room for a completely wireless connection.

Flexible Controls: Low Pass Crossover and Variable Phase control allows you to tune the subwoofer to your Klipsch speakers and to your room, establishing the ideal level of bass. Line Level / LFE RCA inputs ensure compatibility with home theatre receivers.

½ Watt Standby Mode: Exceptional efficiency on or off. Meets global efficiency standards - reducing energy costs for the user.

Use Inputs Simultaneously: Both the RCA and wireless inputs can be utilized, giving you the ability to use a single subwoofer with multiple system in the same room. For example, you can use the wireless input for your home theatre set up and the RCA input for your 2-channel system, without needing to switch inputs when changing between systems.

Ultra-Durable Ebony Finish: Scratch resistant ebony vinyl finish looks like real wood and covers the entire cabinet.

Detailed Design: Rounded corners, shock-absorbing rubber feet, steel grille posts and a woven cloth grille ensure a premium look and feel.

5 Year Warranty: Pound for pound better sound and built to last.

Why Choose The Klipsch RP-1200SW Subwoofer

When Klipsch say these are the "Best High-Performance Subwoofers Klipsch Has Ever Made" you need to take notice. Apart from their outright performance, which is among the best we have ever heard, we are very pleased that no matter which of the models you choose, you get exactly the same controls and features with the performance scaled up or down depending on the model. This means that no matter what your budget or room size, Klipsch has a Reference Premier subwoofer that is right for you. In this case it's the second model in the lineup, the RP-1200SW, with a 12" bass driver and 400 Watts (800 Watts peak) which should keep people with medium to large rooms rather content.

    About Klipsch

Our journey with Klipsch started in 1976, a whole four years before Audio Trends was born. In those days, the Klipsch Cornerhorns ruled supreme but we found the Klipsch Heresy to be a little gem with a massive sound. Even in 1978, most amplifiers were under 50 Watts per channel but connect a pair of Heresy's
