About The KEF PQ1 Spike Kit
The KEF Q11 Meta and Q7 Meta floorstanding speaker are thoughtfully supplied with adjustable rubber feet so no matter what surface you put them on they will not mark the floor, whether it be wood, tiles or stone.
But rubber feet are also holding these speaker back from being the ultimate expression of what they can be. And we're not just talking a tough new stance that makes them appear more focused and intense, although there's nothing wrong with that of course.
The PQ1 speaker spikes are precision-engineered to offer superb cabinet rigidity and stability, enabling the optimal positioning of floorstanding Q Series speakers. By enhancing separation from external vibrations, these spikes help isolate these high performance speakers and minimise resonance, which improves overall sound quality. And the adjustable design facilitates easy levelling, allowing the ideal setup in your listening space. And, of course, KEF have provided spike shoes so these improvements can be achieved even on hard floors such as floorboards, stone, tiles and concrete. They really have thought of everything.
