KEF Coda W AT-LPW40WN Turntable System
The KEF Coda W Speakers seem to tick so many boxes. There’s the Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive™, aptX Lossless™ so you can stream from a smartphone, tablet of laptop with absolute ease. Then there’s the digital inputs including USB-C so you can hook up a computer and also optical and HDMI so you can improve the sound of your television. Then there’s a line level input for hooking up a CD player or tape deck and a phono input for your turntable. And if you need deeper bass there’s a sub out as well. They have a remote control and top panel controls, they look pretty cool and they sound very, very good.
Here we thought we’d take the vinyl playing scenario for a spin and have chosen a popular fully manually belt drive Audio Technica LPW40WN Turntable which features an upgradeable stylus, anti-resonance, die-cast aluminium platter with rubber mat and a built-in switchable phono pre-amplifier for phono or line-level output.
This is a great pairing which shows that $2K is a great place to start if you’re looking for style, substance and great sound.
KEF Coda W All-In-One Wireless Hi-Fi Speakers with Bluetooth 5.4
Some things are worth rediscovering: the warmth of a record, the authentic crackle of vinyl, the feeling of sound truly alive. Honouring the original Coda series that made high-fidelity sound accessible, Coda W builds upon that pioneering spirit. The result is an all-in-one speaker system that blends KEF’s renowned acoustic excellence with seamless connectivity and intuitive control. Experience true high-fidelity sound, made effortlessly available for the way you listen today.
At the heart of Coda W lies KEF’s signature 5.25 inch (133 mm) 12th Generation Uni-Q® driver array. By positioning the tweeter at the acoustic centre of the woofer, it acts as a single point source, creating a detailed, accurate, and immersive three-dimensional soundstage that fills any room.
KEF’s proprietary Music Integrity Engine® (MIE) is the mastermind behind the sound. This suite of bespoke DSP algorithms, specially tuned for Coda W, ensures all components work in perfect harmony. The result is remarkable sonic integrity, powerful detail, and pinpoint accuracy from a combined 200 Watts of system power.
