Sapphire Audio Grade Power Cable

The Sapphire cable has a thick 13mm outer diameter finished in a smooth feeling cloth sheath that is a lovely sapphire blue and black colour. To ensure long term reliability, the cable ends are enclosed within a thick protective heat-shrink cover that extends for about 100mm. The barrels, heat-shrink and cable ties are all proudly labelled with the EGM Audio logo.

There are three 12AWG cores of 4mm²99.999% OFC pure electrolytic copper plus an extensive internal EMI/RFI protective screening over the cores. The wall power plug is enclosed in a hefty black barrel and the male pins are rhodium plated and look fantastic. There is a wide choice of cable ends available including IEC C19, C15 or IEC C7 plug tops to suit your specific requirement from a projector, amplifier or source device, so we have you covered. Please specify the length of cable that you require. All of the cables are hand made to your specific needs in Australia by a licenced electrician.

We love the Sapphire cable, its sound is disciplined and articulate with lots of detail. The tonal balance is very good, with a slightly thinner, yet just as taut bass as the Black Pearl cable. The mids are a touch forward and voices are reproduced with stunning accuracy and feel. The top-end is particularly well focused and you will be able to discern lots of detail that you may not have heard so clearly before.
