About The Denon DNP-2000NE Network Music Player

Ultra AL32 Processing: Ultra AL32 Processing utilizes data interpolation algorithms and supports high-resolution 192-kHz/24-bit PCM signal input. These algorithms interpolate points that should exist before and after the points in large quantities of data to achieve a smooth waveform that is close to that of the original signal.
Carefully restoring data that was lost during digital recording results in playback sound that is highly detailed, richly expressive in the lower range, and beautifully faithful to the original sound.
DAC Master Clock: Because accuracy is the key to performance, the high-quality master clock is the reference for the four-audio DAC operation, the network module, and USB-DAC to ensure that the digital audio circuitry performs at its maximum potential.

Amazon Alexa Voice Control: Use your voice to stream your favourite music services via Alexa. Ask Alexa to play music, turn volume up or down, pause, mute, and play the next song - all with your voice.
To start streaming with Alexa voice commands, open the Alexa app, select "Skills," and add HEOS Home Entertainment. Then, go to Smart Home in the Alexa app menu and choose "Devices and Discover" or say, "Alexa, discover my devices."
AirPlay 2 & Apple Siri Voice Control: Stream audio from your favourite music services like Apple Music and Spotify from any iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV. Hear audio perfectly synced to your speakers from AirPlay 2 sources. Use AirPlay 2 in-app or with your voice via Siri.
Control Buttons: The centre button is play/pause/enter. It determines selection and acts as play/pause on the "Now Playing" screen. Surrounding buttons are directional cursors: up, down, right, left. Left and right buttons work as previous and next, respectively, on the "Now Playing" screen.
Our Take
Denon's new music streamer has all the goods. Not only is it as versatile as they come thanks to its HEOS streaming platform, but it also supports high-resolution audio up to 32-bit/384kHz – that's much better than CD quality.
HEOS support means you can stream music wirelessly from a plethora of music streaming services, including Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, internet radio and more, as well as from other networked devices like NAS drives. You can also create playlists through the HEOS mobile app and use any of Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple's Siri for voice control.
Then there's the sound quality. Inside the network audio player, Denon's Advanced Processing supports up-sampling to 384kHz and bit-extension to 32-bit, while the asynchronous USB Type B connection supports native hi-res digital files, including DSD256. Four high-precision 32-bit/384kHz ES9018K2M digital-to-analogue converters are configured in a double-differential-mode just like Denon's flagship DCD-A110 SACD player, which result in very high quality sound. This is all helped by Denon's Master Clock design which suppresses jitter, and the isolation of the analogue and digital circuit boards from each other to prevent interference.
You want connections? The DNP-2000NE has plenty, starting with Wi-Fi, wired Ethernet, Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2. HDMI ARC lets you hook up your TV to your hi-fi, and you can even control the DNP-2000NE using your TV remote. Two optical and one coaxial digital inputs are also ready and waiting, alongside a USB Type B input. There are also fixed and variable analogue output options, and one coax and one optical output each. And finally, there's a headphone socket on the front panel. For versatility, sound quality and streaming technology, the Denon DNP-2000NE Network Music Player is very hard to beat.
