The Perfect Match: These stands have been specifically designed to match the Airpulse A300 & A300Pro Active Speakers and when used together the ST300 Stands bring out the very best the A300 & A300Pro have to offer.
All Solid Wood Structure: The ST300 stands are made with 100% natural MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard). The thickness of the bottom plate is 25mm and top plate is 18mm. Additionally, the central column is made from 25mm MDF to provide an extra solid support for the speaker. Weighing in at 18.8 Kg a pair, these stands are heavy, sturdy and stable - exactly what a high performance loudspeaker needs.
Designed For The A300/A300Pro: Designed to be a visual extension of the A300/A300Pro, the colour finish and shape on the front part of the columns are the same as the front baffle of the speaker. Side panels on the columns also use a satin lacquer cheery wood finish consistent with the A300/A300Pro to match the speaker.
Locked & Secure: The speakers are locked onto the stand for maximum stability. There are threaded screw holes on each corner of the top plate. A set of bolts are provided with the stand so that the A300/A300Pro speaker can be bolted to the stand securely.
Sand Filling for Added Rigidity: The ST300 Weighs 18.8kg a pair and will provide sufficient support and rigidity without filling. However, for those with extremely discriminating ears and those, who pursue perfection, the column can be filled with dry sand for maximum stability. An even better alternative to dry sand is the Atacama Atabites which we sell for exactly this purpose. Atabites are a high density, zinc coated inert filler which exhibit even better resonance control than sand.
Dome Shaped Rubber Feet: The ST300 uses 4 dome shaped rubber feet per stand to reduce impact on the floor. The dome shape rubber feet also help reduce contact area with the floor so that the interference from vibration and shock can be reduced to a minimum.
Optimal Stand Height, Optimal Performance: The ST300 stands are 660mm high. With the tweeter location of 303mm on the A300/A300Pro speaker, the tweeter height will be set 965mm from the floor, which is the standard height for listening and should suit most seated listening positions.
