AAVA Volume Control Circuit 

The E-6000 uses the same balanced AAVA volume control technology found in Accuphase's separate preamplifiers, allowing smooth and precise adjustment while maintaining excellent sound quality. It's a ANCC circuitry further reduces unwanted noise, improving the signal to noise ratio by 10% over the E 5000 and delivering a 14% improvement across everyday volume levels. Accuphase has also carefully refined the internal component and grounding layouts to achieve and even cleaner, more detailed performance.

ANCC (Accuphase Noise and distortion Cancelling Circuit) 

The E-6000 uses ANCC topology for the I-V converter amplifier. This innovative topology adds a sub-amplifier for effectively cancelling noise in the main amplifier circuit. The use of low-noise technology in the sub-amplifier (noise density: 1.5 nV / √Hz) further enhances the benefits of ANCC. By incorporating ANCC in the I-V converter amplifier and the balanced amplifier of the AAVA section, a further drastic reduction in noise is achieved, especially at low to medium volume level positions.

Class AB High-Power Amplifier

The E-6000 powerful Class AB amplifier delivers 260 Watts into 8 ohms and 350 Watts into 4 ohms, giving it the strength and control to drive demanding speakers with ease. Its current feedback design provides excellent phase response, while six parallel bipolar transistors help maintain clean, stable power at higher listening levels. A newly developed extra large toroidal transformer and custom 47,000μF filter capacitors provide greater energy reserves than the E-5000, helping the music sound more dynamic, controlled and effortless.

High Damping Factor: 1000

The E-6000 features an upgraded speaker protection circuit using an ultra low resistance MOSFET, reducing on resistance from 1.6mΩ in the E-5000 to just 0.84mΩ. This helps maintain its high damping factor of 1000, giving the amplifier precise control over the speaker drivers for tighter bass and a more accurate sound.
