About The Rega Nd7 Stylus
The diamond stylus of the Rega Nd7 should perform at its very best for around 1,000 hours which, if you play records for 1 hour a day, works out to almost 3 years. After 1,000 hours the diamond stylus will start wearing down and sound quality will start to drop off.
This is the time to get the stylus replaced. The unique pivot pad design of Rega cartridges improves performance by eliminating the mechanical joint between the stylus housing and the main body. This vastly improves tracking ability and stability of the stylus. It also means that the stylus in the Nd7 is not user replaceable which means you need to return your whole cartridge to Audio Trends and purchase a brand new Rega Nd7 Cartridge at the reduced price shown.
If you don’t live near us you are welcome to post us your cartridge, and we will send the replacement Nd7 cartridge anywhere in Australia freight free.
