About The GoldenEar Invisa 650 In-Ceiling Speaker
The Invisa 650 is designed for in-ceiling and in-wall use. The driver motor structures and 6.5"(165 mm) cone/voice coil assemblies are based on those utilized in GoldenEar’s Triton and Aon speakers. Of course, it also incorporates the GoldenEar High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR™) tweeter and a complex crossover to perfectly blend the drivers for superb performance.
The Invisa 650 speaker comes standard with a round, paintable MagneLock™ grille and there is an optional square grille available. Special attention has been given to achieving wide sonic dispersion that is so important in distributed audio systems. The tweeters twist and pivot to optimize performance and a high-frequency equalization switch allows precise matching to any environment.

Our Take
The GoldenEar Invisa 650 disappears into its surroundings thanks to the one-piece hidden-flange construction and magnetically attached grille. The 650 makes use of mid/bass drivers and an Air-Motion Transformer (High-Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter similar to those in GoldenEar’s award winning Triton Towers. The angle of the pivoting tweeter can be adjusted to achieve wide, well-controlled dispersion and minimize unwanted reflections and a high-frequency equalization switch allows further tailoring to the room and the listener’s tastes.
