Established in 1972 near Frankfurt, Canton Loudspeakers (from the Latin word Cantare – to sing and the German word Ton – musical tone) are proudly hand-crafted in Germany. For over half a century, this family business has developed a sophisticated spectrum of products and has gradually expanded its offering into 12 product ranges tailored to every budget and room size. At their headquarters and production facility in Weilrod and their components factory near Tachau in the Czech Republic, they employ around 150 people. Canton’s presence on the international audio visual market extends to 53 countries with their products known and appreciated all over the world. Sustainability is of key importance to Canton and they pay great attention to the use of sustainable raw materials and reducing the use of plastic as much as possible.
