About Van den Hul D-352 Speaker Cable

The Van den Hul D-352 Speaker Cable is everything we've come to expect from this cable maker - fatigue free, a big bold spacious presentation with the finesse that good audio equipment deserves. A cable that manages to combine the qualities of copper, silver and carbon into a truly great sounding, yet affordable package.

The D-352 is the next step up from the popular CS-122 and sounds even better. More substantial in every way, the D-352 digs a little deeper, has a slightly more gutsy bass, a larger scale & soundstage presentation and is a touch richer in balance. The best thing about the entire Van Den Hul range is the total lack of fatigue when listening for long periods. Many cable brands tend to shout at you to get the message across but Van Den Hul cables are faithfully transparent to the sound of the music and always leave you feeling relaxed after a listening session.

Each lead is made of 296 x 0.15 mm Matched Crystal (MC) high purity Oxygen Free Copper strands with a dense and very pure silver coating. Covering the two conductors is an extra layer saturated with Linear Structured Carbon that has been applied to improve the sonic performance and to transform the radiated magnetic field into an audio signal again. Of course, the cable jacket is made from van den Hul's own HULLIFLEX 3, a very flexible and mechanically superb insulation material. The resistance per lead is an impressive 0.34 Ohm/100 meter. Total metal cross-section area for each conductor is 5.23 mm², equalling AWG 10 which is very thick and definitely at a level where substantial terminations will be required. Another thing in common to some other Van den Hul speaker cables is the outer construction. The plus and minus leads are different in jacket-shape with printing in the flat middle section. Both properties are easy polarity-finders.

Van den Hul D-352 Speaker Cable Review

Martin Colloms writing for UK magazine Hi-Fi News & Record review had this to say about the D-352: "Pleasant, well resolved treble; an essentially neutral mid range; very good stereo focus is evident and the hallmarks of audiophile quality are present: good transparency, fine image depth and natural perspective; clean, satisfying bass"

Terminated Pair Option

This description is for a purchase by the metre. Buy what you wish and either fit your own plugs or arrange for us to fit some for you. Bare wire is not going to work at AWG 10. Installation is done by an experienced audio technician and so is done right and saves you the time and "fiddle" of doing it yourself which can be a problem if you don't have the right tools. And the price is not much more than you would pay for the separate items. If you have a need for a "custom" length then we can organise that promptly. Just give us a call during business hours to place your order.
