Product Description

The REL T7i takes all the attributes of the T5i subwoofer and amplifies and deepens the results quite out of proportion with the modest price difference.

Stepping up to a T7i produces a huge increase in performance over the smaller, less expensive down-firing models (T Zero or T5i). T7i adds a superb forward-firing heavy-duty long-throw AlloyFibre 200mm (8”) active driver, along with a high current 200 Watt Class A/B amp with remote-mounted toroidal transformer to a down-firing 254mm (10”) passive radiator. The combination of a larger cabinet and the driven cone area of a 13” driver, results in powerful performance you can really feel.

Bassline Blue: Although all REL Subwoofers are supplied standard with a Hi-Level Cable, REL also offer an upgade Hi-Level Cable called Bassline Blue. This REL designed cable is the perfect way to improve the sound quality of your REL Subwoofer and in fact your entire system. The Bassline Blue cable is an upgrade every REL owner should investigate.

Use With Bookshelf or Floorstanding Loudspeakers

We expect great performance from any product wearing a REL badge, but we were floored when we got this inexpensive little sub to integrate perfectly with our reference tower speakers! The T7i dramatically improved bass weight and depth, but surprisingly also increased perceived depth and width of the soundstage.

Midrange and high-frequency response were richer, more palpable and finely textured as well. The T7i effortlessly increased the enormous dynamic range of these large floor standing speakers in our extremely large listening room. This is obviously not the intended use for a T7i, but it is a testament to REL engineering and quality that this reasonably priced sub could effect such an improvement on speakers that should be clearly out of its league.

Out of this World Cabinet Technology

The T7 feature true Instrument-Grade-Bracing, borrowed from the musical instrument industry. This mechanical bracing is credited with producing a suddenness, impact and dynamics not commonly associated with products in this category. Energy distribution is further aided by heavyweight solid, aluminium feet that alllow this newfound speed and 'slam' to more efficiently couple into the room.

The high-gloss lacquer finish in both Piano Black and White allows the T7i to blend seamlessly with your room décor and main loudspeakers.

Optional Wireless Operation With Arrow

Not content with making the T7i better in every way than its predecesser, REL have added a great new feature that has the ability to banish signal wiring between the subwoofer and your amplifier. Arrow is REL’s latest generation of zero compression wireless. Super fast delivery of both High Level Bass and .1/ LFE ensures the rich, natural warmth that only RELs can deliver. With a throw distance of some 45’(13.7M) Arrow permits flexible placement without sacrificing sound quality. Arrow technology is built into all REL Ti Subwoofers. The Arrow Transmitter/Receiver hardware enables wireless operation and is available separately as an optional extra.
