And, of course, if you prefer a less technical look in your home, you can hide the baffle behind an acoustically transparent magnetically attached fabric cover.
The Smart GLE 5 centre speaker is a perfect match for the outstanding Smart GLE 9 floorstanding speakers. With them and the Smart GLE 3 bookshelf rear speakers and Smart SUB8 subwoofer you can set up an impressive home cinema system in your home – completely free of speaker cables. Thanks to the powerful active module, up to 350 watts of power is available. More than enough power to indulge your home cinema hobby. The Smart GLE 5 has a wealth of inputs including analogue XLR or RCA connections and Coaxial and Optical digital inputs.
Convincing Sound: As with all Canton speakers, high quality sound is a given. In this case, convincing sound is ensured by the two high-quality titanium mid/bass drivers and the superb aluminium-manganese dome tweeter. The 154 mm mid/woofers in this infinite baffle sealed enclosure deliver excellent vocal clarity coupled with dynamics and tight bass. As a result, the Smart GLE 5 achieves high sound pressure levels without a trace of distortion. The 25 mm tweeter offers the best radiation behaviour thanks to the front transmission plate and the sound-optimized perforated protective metal cover.
