Great system design translates into a great end result. The team at Audio Trends is dedicated to ensuring that, through superior system design, you get the absolute highest performance and reliability from your audio, video and home automation systems.

Project Management

A truly successful project hinges on great Project Management. Since today's home automation systems "touch" virtually every sub-system in the home, such as home theatre, media rooms, air-conditioning, lighting control systems, motorised drapes/shades, pool, security, CCTV camera systems, gates, etc, careful coordination is required to ensure that all of the details of the project are planned in advance with the other sub-contractors on the project. Of course, we appreciate that you may only be including some of these features, but you still want them to work seamlessly.

Why We Are Different

Most custom audio video installation companies do not have dedicated project Managers, instead, the employees are required to multi-task and serve many different roles within the company. And to be honest that's how we started. But this inevitably leads to problems including missed communication, or slow response in returning important phone calls. We saw this need a few years ago and appointed an experienced installer/programmer to take on the full-time role as a dedicated Project Manager. He and his assistants 'coordinate and manage' all the various aspects thus helping ensure your project is completed on time. Our Project Management team's goal is that your finished installation is uncompromised. The fit and finish will be excellent, and the entire process from design through completion will be a happy, harmonious experience for all involved.

The Right Start

There are an enormous amount of details that go into properly designing audio video and home automation / smart home control systems in today's contemporary homes. First, there is the low-voltage wiring infrastructure. Your home's wiring should not only be appropriate for your initial needs but also allow for future technologies especially in the fast moving world of home entertainment. Why? Because once your walls are closed up, they should stay closed. A properly engineered wiring plan should be able to adapt to new technology many years after your initial move-in. In the design phase we like to think how your system might evolve in the next 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, etc.

The Right Components

The next step of great system design is selecting proper components. This is similar to putting together a great symphony. The skills of each musician are important, but what is more important is how the musician interacts with the rest of the players in the orchestra. The same illustration applies to your audio video and entertainment systems. When selecting components, we are constantly evaluating how that component fits into the "symphony". Will it increase the reliability of the system? Will it perform at its best with the other components in the system? Is it a good value in the context of the system as a whole?

The Right Documentation

The third vital element to system design is Audio Trends documentation package. We speak the language of your design team, and that language is detailed plans. Audio Trend's low-voltage wiring documentation specifies all of the various audio video requirements that your architect, builder, and interior designer need to know about. This documentation package includes electrical requirements, HVAC requirements, device placement, equipment space planning, home theatre sightlines and riser heights/dimensions, television niche requirements, etc. This type of planning helps eliminate unwanted surprises which result in either additional costs or a compromised end result.

Summary

One of our mission statements for the last couple of decades has been to "exceed our customer's expectations". Although when we started out on our own in 1980, we never really thought about any long-term plan, we did have an ethos and that was to deliver the best in products, value for money and service. Many of the staff have been with us for 20 years plus and the newer ones have joined us because of the fine reputation we have earned in over 40 years of trading. So, we invite you to come and see why. We will make you most welcome.
