Bring The Breathtaking Clarity & Definition Of Studio Sound Home With The B&W 700 Series
The HTM72 is the more compact centre channel speaker in the range, bringing superior dialogue clarity to the home cinema experience.
Bring the breathtaking clarity and definition of studio sound home with the new 700 Series. Replacing the CM Series, the range combines studio-grade 800 Series Diamond technologies with purpose-built innovations to elevate home audio to an entirely new level. And all this from room-friendly cabinets designed to fit beautifully into your home environment.
This high performance two-way centre speaker is a great choice for home cinema set-ups in smaller rooms, where space is at a premium. Partner it up with the more compact 700 Series speakers, such as the 706 or the 704.
The 700 Series is an entirely new range of speakers. Compared with the outgoing CM Series, every transducer has changed and radically improved. To do this, B&W have borrowed some of the most advanced technologies from their flagship 800 Series Diamond, adapting them to suit a more attainable price point. And they’ve introduced entirely new technologies, designed specifically for this range.
Carbon Dome Tweeter: Carbon Dome tweeters are a brand new technology purpose-built for the 700 Series. Delivering a dramatic improvement on the aluminium double-dome tweeter, they raise the breakup threshold to 47kHz, for pinpoint imaging accuracy and detail.
Continuum Cone: First introduced with the 800 Series Diamond, the Continuum cone represents the biggest step-change in midrange performance since Kevlar. Its woven, coated material provides highly controlled break-up, resulting in a more open, neutral midrange.
Bring Hollywood Home
Providing the ideal balance of high-performance acoustics and living room-friendly dimensions, the 700 Series centre channel speakers are a superlative choice for home cinema sound. Pair them with the Floorstanding or Standmount 700 Series speakers and the powerful DB4S subwoofer, and you’re set for a truly transformational movie experience.

In leading recording studios, music that will soon be heard everywhere is heard first through Bowers & Wilkins speakers. “Bowers & Wilkins speakers are the only speakers I have found that enable me to accurately listen to how the original performance has been recorded.”
