Traditionally RCA analogue inputs have been the most popular, for plugging in turntables and CD players, and all stereo and AV models sport these. More recently, digital inputs such as coaxial and optical have become far more common allowing for digital components like streamers to be easily connected. The hottest input these days, however, would definitely be HDMI ARC which allows you the freedom of connecting a TV to your stereo or surround sound system for much better sound and the convenience of using your TV remote to control volume, like the Denon AVC-A10H Amplifier.
