Yes the Pro-Ject Primary E Turntable featured in the Perfect Primary Pack III does come with a hinged Acrylic Dust Cover. It comes with a lid for a couple of important reasons. Firstly, as the name suggests, it is a good thing to keep it closed so as to keep as much dust away from the turntable and records as possible. The second reason is it helps keep airborne vibrations away from the record, tonearm and cartridge, helping to isolate the playback system so the sound will have greater clarity and detail.
