Description
The Aaron ATS-1’s are the start in the company’s Audio Technology Series (ATS) and are a very smart 2-Way design that’s equally at home in either a stereo or surround sound system – although a subwoofer may be advantageous in certain situations. The single 173mm bass driver underpins one of the major design concepts. It’s a new and improved version of what Aaron call Low Q ratio alignment which aims to lower distortion, achieve faster response times and improve system efficiency. The Woofer is complemented by the excellent Aaron ‘teardrop’ tweeter.
The good thing is that although there is not a lot of bass – there isn’t any ‘normal’ small bookshelf speaker that does – the bass is tight and well controlled. Other features include vitrified and very large, high flux Y35 magnets, non ageing cross-over components and Bi-wiring gold banana terminals. The Aaron ATS-1’s have a 10 year warranty. Description
The Aaron SS-120 can serve dual roles. Although designed primarily as a high-quality surround sound speaker for which it is excellent, we have found that it fits the bill very well when it comes to two-channel stereo applications, especially when the room is small or where the customer does not want the speakers to dominate the room. The SS-120’s include a 136mm bass driver and 25mm tweeter; have a fantastic transient response and ultra linearity, truly excelling in this area.
So along with being great surround sound speakers, they are perfect for stand alone bookshelf speakers. Frequency response is 65Hz to 23kHz, Impedance is nominally 8 ohms which makes them perfect for virtually every amplifier ever made and they can be used with amplifiers outputting as much as 100 Watts RMS. Aaron Low Q Ratio technology is applied and they come with a 10-year (conditional) warranty. |

Description
The Canton Plus XXL is the largest speaker in the Plus series and is an excellent performer. Even though it is one of the largest Satellite speakers on the market, its clever design allows flexible positioning on either a shelf, hung on the wall or placed on a loudspeaker stand. Available in black, silver or white, the Plus XXL blends in with almost any décor, while the 5” two way design ensures it will function seamlessly with a subwoofer.
The Plus XXL is available in single units, making it ideal in either front or surround sound speaker applications. The rich, detailed sound from the aluminium tweeter and cellulose / graphite mid-bass driver defy their compact bookshelf size and price. They can handle quite high-levels of sound without a problem. Rugged plastic cabinets and detachable metal grills round-off the excellent workmanship of this box. |

Description
As the designation implies, the Canton Plus XL is a down-sized version of the Plus XXL. It has the same 25mm aluminium tweeter, but now a 130mm woofer. Power handling is still up to 100 Watts RMS, but the Plus XL is really designed to work in conjunction with a powered subwoofer, then being suitable for operation as front or surround speakers.
A characteristic feature of this universal compact box Plus XL is its rounded cabinet, making it also well-suited for positioning in corners. In HiFi operation it can be used to 'up rate' so-called mini and micro systems. By virtue of bass reflex adjustment the Plus XL has outstandingly brilliant dynamic performance. Rugged hard plastic cabinets and detachable metal grills round-off the excellent and to be expected German workmanship of this box. Available in Black, White or Silver lacquer. |

Description
We have sold the Plus X for so long, we cannot remember when it first arrived. Based on the highly popular Plus S which we first sold in the late 1970’s this is an amazing product that is at home in both surround sound applications and stereo systems although a subwoofer is an essential. With its rounded and rugged hard plastic cabinet, the Plus X is both visually and audibly superior to similar products.
The aluminium-manganese 25mm dome tweeter features light weight and high stiffness, thus ensuring a linear non-distorted treble reproduction. Power handling is excellent as is the frequency response which goes as high as 30kHz. The 2-way design also features a 110mm woofer and totally universal 4mm binding posts. Brackets are optional and everything is built to expected German excellence. Available in Black, White or for a few dollars more – Silver lacquer. |
