NAD C720BEE: Many of NAD’s most innovative circuit designs have come from the creative mind of Bjorn Erik Edvardsen, Director of Advanced Developments. Soft Clipping, Power Envelope, and PowerDrive are just a few examples of Erik’s superb engineering skill. The BEE moniker for NAD’s latest receiver recognises Erik’s contribution to the marque for over 30 years.

NAD C725BEE: In addition to the seven high level inputs on the rear panel there is a front panel mini-jack for quick and easy hook up of a portable music player. Additional convenience features include an IR remote commander, connections for a second set of speakers, and a highly informative 2 line vacuum fluorescent display. Audiophile features like multi-way speaker binding posts and gold plated input sockets all add to the performance and reliability of this fine instrument. There is even an output for adding a powered subwoofer!

For those areas that support DAB broadcasts, the C 725BEE is equipped with a special socket on the rear panel that accepts NAD’s optional DB 1 DAB module which adds DAB reception. Just plug it in and the C 725BEE operating software recognizes the DB 1 module and makes a seamless integration.

If you are a vinyl LP enthusiast we offer a choice of two optional outboard Phono Preamps, the PP 2 and the PP 3. Both offer superb performance for both MM and low output MC cartridge types. The PP 3 adds USB output to allow transfer of your LPs to the HDD of your Personal Computer.

Custom Installation

There is a line level Zone 2 output with independent source selection allowing you to add an amplifier in another location and listen to all your sources connected to the C 725BEE.

A separate remote commander is included to control the C 725BEE from the remote location using independent IR codes. The IR input and output sockets on the rear panel make it easy to attach any of the many IR repeaters on the market today. The C 725BEE also sports an RS-232 port and is certified compatible with Crestron, AMX and Savant system controllers. The inclusion of 12V trigger input and output gives additional flexibility and compatibility for custom installations. A detachable AC cord also speeds the installation process.

Yamaha RX-797: The RX-797 is a very sophisticated two channel stereo Receiver. The amplifier section features a high-current power supply, thus allowing each channel to output 100 Watts (RMS) of power, making it an ideal choice for ‘hungry’ speakers or those times when you want to play your music a bit louder! It also features a CD Direct Circuit (discrete configuration) with a switch that allows you to by-pass things like the tone circuits. The idea is that by minimising the circuit path, the sound quality will improve.
