The bi-amplified Genelec 6040A is a two-way floor-standing active speaker with high output, low coloration, and broad bandwidth. Its essence is the charm it conveys to your home in sound and design. Style is part and parcel of the function of this unique product. Its lines, drawn by a famous award-winning designer, flow like music in the air.

As an active speaker, the 6040A contains drivers, power amplifiers, active crossover filters and protection circuitry. As the amplifiers are built into the speaker base, the only connections required are the mains supply and the line level input signal, making the 6040A very easy to set up and use.

The bass frequencies, extending down to 43 Hz, are reproduced by a 182mm bass driver and the high frequency driver is a 19mm metal dome. The integrated bass and treble amplifiers of the 6040A produce a total of 240 W. Magnetic shielding is standard on the 6040A to ensure minimal interference with TV screens and computer displays. The loudspeaker cabinet and stand are made of aluminium.

Each 8040A comes with an Iso-Pod™ (Isolation Positioner/Decoupler™) which eliminates coloration of the sound by decoupling the monitor from its mounting surface. The Iso-Pod™ also allows the speaker to be angled so that its acoustic axis points directly at the listener. For ideal mounting in differing environments, the 8040A includes integrated rear support points for floor and wall stands, with an additional M10 threaded mounting hole on the enclosure base.

The amplifier panels have been upgraded with a 12V/contact closure strip. The amplifier panels also now include a DIP-switch set that allows the user to turn the LED indicator on or off. The bi-amplified Genelec HT210B is a two way active speaker designed for high-end Home Cinema systems. Designed as an active speaker, this unit contains drivers, power amplifiers, active crossover filtering and protection circuitry. It is capable of enormous output and will fill all but the largest rooms. The 250mm Bass driver is coupled to a very powerful 180 Watt amplifier and the 25mm metal dome Tweeter has its own 120 Watt amplifier. The HT210B can output upto 124dB SPL @ 1 metre! Each speaker weighs almost 22kg.

The Directivity Control Waveguide™ technology provides excellent frequency balance even in difficult acoustic environments. The aim is to match the frequency response and directivity of the drivers in the loudspeaker. This results in excellent match of overall frequency response on and off axis.

The Genelec 5050A active subwoofer is a powerful and very compact low frequency loudspeaker specially designed for small high quality home cinemas. The 5050A is the ideal partner to the 6020A loudspeaker system, supplying a powerful and wide bandwidth 3-channel bass-managed subwoofer solution for both stereo and surround sound applications.

The 5050A is equipped with one active magnetically shielded 200mm driver mounted on the front side of a compact cabinet, and two 200mm passive radiators, one on each side of the cabinet. A 70 Watt power amplifier is integrated into the subwoofer which has a frequency response from 25 Hz - 120 Hz (± 3 dB). The 5050A also has the ability to deliver short-term sine wave output of 100 dB sound pressure level with extremely low distortion levels, much like all other Genelec active subwoofers.

In addition, XLR and RCA line level input connectors (with input sensitivity) provide easy connection to all types of decoders and a "Link Out" connector allows coupling two or more subwoofers together when higher sound pressure levels are required. The Genelec 7071A Active Subwoofer is powerful and precise bass monitoring tool for modern 6.1 or 5.1 channel Surround Sound or traditional stereo systems. With its dual 300mm drivers, 500 Watt amplifier and 19 Hz lower cut-off frequency, high sound pressure output capability and versatile bass management systems, it can be adapted to all low frequency monitoring situations.

The Genelec Laminar Spiral Enclosure bass reflex cabinet is made of a sheet metal rolled into a spiral shape and clamped between thick MDF side panels.
