With even a little space one can enjoy a classy 12 seat home cinema. Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you - this is a single car garage and the car has been assigned to its rightful place - outside! The original garage door was actually replaced with the same material but no roller mechanism. From the outside everything appears normal, but all the gaps were sealed.

The entrance door to the cinema room was relocated to allow three rows of seating including some  of our custom made items. Some simple C-Bus wiring was also installed at frame stage to allow control of lighting and effects. The final result is amazing.

Here we have another example of the basics of a pre-wire. Running cables for all matter of items is far easier at this point in construction than after plaster is installed. This is even more critical in a multi storey dwelling - especially when a projector is being installed.

Note that if you want to conceal the projector in a lift mechanism or 'dipper', then you will need significantly more space between the floors than is normally allowed. You need to decide this well in advance of finalising any plans. Minimum recommended ceiling height for a dedicated home cinema room is 2700mm and 3000mm is even better if you plan to install acoustic ceilings and bulkheads. With good planning and a 'switched-on' architect you will be amazed at how you can best use your available space.

Expensive? Pre-wiring even on the most elaborate homes is very inexpensive and $1000's cheaper than if you do it later. Talk to our expert staff. They will be happy to give you a quote for the complete job or materials only and you do it yourself. However, remember diy has its share of problems as you are then fully responsible for getting it right! You will be surprised at how little it costs for our trained personnel to complete the job - and then it is their responsibility!

Planning for all this before you build is easy. We have all the latest products to make your home entertainment system a dream. So, whether it be C-Bus, telephone, digital antenna or multi-room audio visual, we are your one-stop shop. We can even help you with architects who are in-the-know with home entertainment and will work with you in achieving your goals.

Entertainment outside? No problems! And changing tracks on your CD's or adjusting the volume can all be done outside rather than you having to rush inside. The kids too can watch a movie with their friends in the home cinema whilst you enjoy the entertainment outside with your family and friends.

Finally a tip! Pre-wire for everything. You can fit-off different sections as both time and money allow. You don't need to install the complete dream system all at once. And, please don't contact us the day before the plaster is to be installed. It will probably be too late to pre-wire which will definitely lead to disappointment. We are happy to discuss your ideas even before the plans are complete. The more time we have to plan, the less chance of error or oversight.
