Q. How Do I Cancel My Order?
We take great care in choosing the products we sell and recommend to you our customer. However, sometimes you may have inadvertedly ordered the wrong product. Maybe you selected Black, but now realise that White would have been better. No problem! Please note though that it is not Audio Trends policy to simply cancel an order and issue a refund because you changed your mind or no longer want the goods for any reason. This is totally acceptable under Victorian Consumer Law - click here. However, we will help as follows:
Instore Sales & Sales Orders
If you wish to change your order, please call the Sales Assistant (name is on docket) that has taken your order on (03) 9874-8233 during business hours. If the order has not been Invoiced/Processed/Dispatched, we may be able to change it, but there is no guarantee. For example, if the goods can be returned in new condition (you need to pay two-way freight costs) within 7 days of purchase, then we may be able to do an exchange. Exceptions will include Sale items and Special orders which cannot be returned unless faulty or not acceptable under consumer law.
Where you make a Sales Order* and pay a deposit then these item(s) will not usually be cancelled and your deposit(s) will be forfeited. In some cases, we may be willing to allow you to use any deposit(s) toward purchases of other goods of equivalent or greater value than the original Sales Order. Note, if we agree to cancel your order, a re-stocking fee of 20% to 25% of the purchase price will most likely apply.
For improved security reasons, all payment is processed by our Gateway system (eWay) and the Commonwealth Bank and not us directly. We are unable to cancel or reverse these orders. If you have selected the wrong colour or size, then please contact our General Manager Mr. Mark Hales on (03) 9874-8233 during business hours and we will definitely try and accommodate your request.
