Overview

The year 1983 was very special because it delivered the world a new form of recording. Although CD didn't deliver on all its promises, it certainly changed the way most of us listen to music, and with a good player and well recorded high quality disc can sound pretty darn good! The CD also paved the way for other digital formats to be developed. One of these has been the Music Server Category which in some cases allows for both recording and storing of CDs and in very high quality.
